of Judah: We have a city of strength; salvation will he appoint

steps of the poor.</p></div><div type="textpart" subtype="verse" n="7"><p>7 The way for the righteous is straightness; thou levellest
straight the path of the righteous.</p></div><div type="textpart" subtype="verse" n="8"><p>8 Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited
for thee 3 the desire of our soul is for thy Name and thy
memorial.</p></div><div type="textpart" subtype="verse" n="9"><p>9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night: yea, with
my spirit within me will I seek thee early ; for when thy judgments
are upon the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn
righteousness.</p></div><div type="textpart" subtype="verse" n="10"><p>10 Let favour be shewed to the wicked, he learneth not
righteousness ; in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly,
and will not look upon the majesty of the Lord</p></div><div type="textpart" subtype="verse" n="11"><p>11 Lord, thy hand is lifted up, they will not see ; they shall
see, and be ashamed at the jealousy for a people ; yea, ﬁre shall
devour thine enemies.</p></div><div type="textpart" subtype="verse" n="12"><p>12 Lord, thou wilt ordain peace for us ; for all our works
also hast thou wrought for us.</p></div><div type="textpart" subtype="verse" n="13"><p>13 O Lord our God, otherllords beside thee have had dominion

the nation; thou hast gotten thee glory; thou hast
enlarged all the borders of the land.</p></div><div type="textpart" subtype="verse" n="16"><p>16 Lord, in trouble have they inquired for thee; they uttered
a whisper]; thy correction was upon them.</p></div><div type="textpart" subtype="verse" n="17"><p>17 Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time
of her delivery, doth writhe, crieth out in her pangs; so were
we at thy presence, O Loan.</p></div><div type="textpart" subtype="verse" n="18"><p>18 We were with child, we writhed, we brought forth as it
were wind; we wrought not salvation (for) the earth, neither have
inhabitants of the earth fallen.</p></div><div type="textpart" subtype="verse" n="19"><p>19 Thy dead ones shall live, my dead body shall arise: Awake
and sing, ye that dwell in the dust; for thy dew is the dew of
lights, and the earth shall cast forth shades.</p></div><div type="textpart" subtype="verse" n="20"><p>20 Go, my people, enter into thy chambers, and shut thy
doors about thee; hide thyself for a little moment, until the
