1. An ancient king of Mysia, who received Auge, the daughter of Aleus, and brought up her son Telephus. From him the town of Teuthrania in Mysia was believed to have received its name. (Apollod. 2.7.4 ; Paus. 8.4; Strab. xii. p.571.) [TELEPHUS].
