3. A son of Perseus and Andromeda, and husband of Nicippe, by whom he became the father of Alcinoe, Medusa, and Eurystheus. (Hom. Il. 19.116; Ov. Her, 9.25, Met. 9.273; Apollod. 2.4.5, &c.) He was slain by Hyllus, the son of Heracles. (Hygin. Fab. 244.)
