an usurer, and a friend of P. Lentulus Spinther (Cic. Att. 1.12, 4.18.3, ad Fam. 1.5, a.). Orelli thinks (Onom. Tull. s. v.) that Selicius may perhaps be the same name as the Secilius (Σηκίλιος) mentioned in Dio Cassius (35.3), but this Secilius is called Seatilius in Plutarch. (Lucull. 25.)
