(Φαεθοντίδες), or PHAETHONTIDES, i.e. the daughters of Phaethon or Helios, and sisters of the unfortunate Phaethon. They are also called Heliades. (Verg. Ecl. 6.62; Anthol. Palat. 9.782.)
