21. SOPHISTA. the SOPHIST, of Lycopolis in Egypt, son of Besarion or Didymus, lived in the reign of the emperor Constantine, and wrote a work now lost, described by Suidas as Ὑπόμνημα, Commentarius. (Suidas, s. v. Αἰγύπτιος.)
