one of the principal officers of Sex. Pollmpey, was one of the commanders of his fleet in the battle with Arippa, off Mylae, B. C. 36. (Appian, App. BC 5.104, 106, &c.) He appears to be the same person as the commander called Demochares by Dio Cassius (49.2, 3) and Suetonius Suet. Aug. 16).
