(Πανομφαῖος), i. e. the author of all signs and omens, occurs as a surname of Helios (Quint. Smyrn. 5.624), and of Zeus, who had a sanctuary on the Hellespont between capes Rhoeteum and Sigeum. (Hom. Il. 8.250; Orph. Argon. 660; Ov. Met. 11.198.)
