3. SP. LUCRETIUS, plebeian aedile, B. C. 206, and praetor B. C. 205, received in the latter year, as his province, Ariminum, which was the name then given to the province of Gallia Cisalpina. His imperium was continued to him for the two following years, B. C. 204-203; in the latter of which he had to rebuild Genua, which had been destroyed by Mago. In B.
