(Ὑπέρβιος), of Corinth, a mythical artist, to whom, in conjunction with Agrolas or Euryalus, the invention of brick walls is ascribed. Another tradition made him the inventor of the potter's wheel. (Paus. 1.28.3, Bekker's text; Schol. ad Pind. Ol. xiii.; Plin. Nat. 7.56.)
