Pr. 17, in Verr. 2.1, 9, Pseudo-Ascon. in Act. I. Verr. p. 149, in Act. II. Verr. p. 165, Orelli.) For the Lex Caecilia mentioned by Valerius Maximus (6.9.10), we should probably read Lex Acilia.
