3. EPHREM, or rather EPHRAEM (Ἐφραὴμ), of CARIA, a monk of unknown date, writer of a Greek hymn or prayer given by Raynaeus (Dissert. Prelim. de Acoluthiis Officii Graeci, p. lxviii. in the Acta Sanctorum Junii, vol. ii.) This Ephrem is not to be confounded with Nos. 1 and 7.
