or DYSPO'NTIUS (Δυσποντεύς or Δυσπόντιος), according to Pausanias (6.22.6), a son of Oenomaus, but according to Stephanus of Byzantium (s. v. Δυσπόντιον), a son of Pelops, was believed to be the founder of the town of Dyspontium, in Pisatis.
