45. A son or disciple of TRYPHON, a Greek grammarian, who lived about B. C. 50. (Steph. Byz. s.v. Ὄα, Μυρρινοῦς, &c.) He was the author of a work περὶ ὀνομάτων, which consisted of at least eleven books, and is often referred to by Stephanus of Byzantium and Harpocration. (Comp. Athen. 6.255, xi. p. 503, xiv. p. 641.)
