Of ATHENS, is quoted by the Scholiast on Apollonius Rhodius (2.279) as the author of a work entitled κυμ́σεις, that is, on conception or birth, which is also mentioned in the Etymologicum Magnum (s. v. Προικόννησος),where, however, the reading κτήσεσιν should be corrected into κυήσεσιν, and not into κτίσεσιν, as Sylburg proposes.
