(Διευχίδας), of Megara, a Greek historian who wrote a history of Megara (Μεγαρικά), which consisted of at least five books. (Clem. Al. Strom. i. p. 141, vi. p. 267; D. L. 1.57; Comp. Harpocrat. s. v. ἀγυιᾶς.) The age of Dieuchidas is unknown, but his work is frequently referred to by the ancients, and his name often appears in a corrupt form. (Schol. ad Apollon. Rhod. 1.118, 517, where his name is Διρηχίδας; Steph. Byz. s. v. Σκίρφαι; Athen. 6.262; Harpocrat. s. v. Γερανία; Schol. ad Pind. Nem. 9.30; Plut. Lyc. 2, in the last two passages Διευτυχίδας; Schol. ad Aristoph. Vesp. 870; Eudoc. p. 286, where the name is Dirychias.)
