3. A statuary, born in Bithynia, whose statue of Zeus Stratius at Nicomedia was greatly admired. (Arrian, apud Eustath. ad Dionys. Perieg. 796.) Hence he probably lived from the time of Alexander the Great downwards. (Thiersch, Epoch. p. 49.)
