a Roman architect, who rebuilt at the expense of Antiochus Epiphanes of Syria the temple of the Olympian Zeus at Athens, about B. C. 168, in the most magnificent Corinthian style. The temple, however, in its present form, which had been deprived of its pillars by Sulla, was finished by Hadrian. (Vitruv.
