(Κλεόδημος Μάλχος), an historian of uncertain date. He wrote a history of the Jews, to which we find reference made by Alexander Polyhistor in a passage quoted from the latter by Josephus. (Ant. 1.15.) The name of Malchus is said to be of the same meaning in Syriac as that of Cleodemus in Greek.
