(Κίλιξ), a son of Agenor and Telephassa. He and his brothers Cadmus and Phoenix were sent out by their father in search of Europa, who had been carried off by Zeus. Cilix settled in the country which derived from him the name of Cilicia. He is called the father of Thasus and Thebe. (Hdt. 7.91; Apollod. 3.1.1; Hyg. Fab. 178; Diod. 5.49.)
