(Καρνεῖος), a Cynic philosopher, who is surnamed Cynulcus (Κύνουλκος), that is, the leader of dogs or Cynics, or, in other words, the leader and teacher of Cynic philosophers. He was a native of Megara, but nothing further is known of him. (Athen. 4.156.)
