(Κάνθος), an Argonaut, is called a son of Canethus and grandson of Abas, or a son of Abas of Euboea. (Apollon. 1.78; Orph. Argon. 139; V. Fl. 1.453.) He is said to have been killed in Libya by Cephalion or Caphaurus. (Hyg. Fab. 14; Apollon. 4.1495; V. Fl. 6.317, 7.422.)
