5. Of Tarentum, the author of a mythological work which is often referred to. (Phot. Bibl. 190; Serv. ad Aen. 3.335; Caes. Germ. in Arat. Phaen. 327; Hygin. Poet. Astr. 2.34.) He is perhaps the same as the one mentioned by Athenaeus (i. p. 20), but nothing is known about him. (Roulez, ad Ptolem. Hepihaest. p. 148.)
