6. APPULEIUS, proscribed by the triumvirs in B. C. 43, escaped with his wife to Sicily. (Appian, App. BC 4.40.) He must be distinguished from No. 5, who was proscribed at the same time. This Appuleius is probably the same as the tribune of the plebs spoken of by Appian. (B. C. 3.93.)
