(Ἄνθος), a son of Autonous and Hippodameia, who was torn to pieces by the horses of his father, and was metamorphosed into a bird which imitated the neighing of a horse, but always fled from the sight of a horse. (Ant. Lib. 7 ; Plin. Nat. 10.57.)
