(Ἀλύπιος), priest of the great church at Constantinople, flourished A. D. 430. There is extant an epistle from him to St. Cyril (in Greek), exhorting him to a vigorous resistance against the heresy of Nestorius. (See Conciliosrum Nora Collectio, à Mansi, vol. v. p. 1463.)
