A Dictionary of Greek and Roman biography and mythology. William Smith, LLD, ed. 1890

(Ἀγρέσφων), a Greek grammarian menitioned by Suidas. (s. v. Ἀπολλώνιος.) He wrote a work Περὶ Ὁμωνύμων concerning persons of the same name). He cannot have lived earlier than the reign of Hadrian, as in his work he spoke of an Apollonius who lived in the time of that emperor.
