(Ἀγών), a personification of solemn contests (ἀγῶνες). He was represented in a statue at Olympia with ἁλτῆρες in his hands. This statue was a work of Dionysius, and dedicated by Smieythus of Rhegium. (Paus. 5.26.3.)
