(Ἀκάκιος)
1. a rhetorician, of Caesarea in Palestine, lived under the emperor Julian, and was a friend of Libanius. (Suidas, s. v. Ἀκάκιος, Ἀιβάνιος : Eunapius, Acacii Vit.) Many of the letters of Libanus are addressed to him.
