At the end of the
      social war the greater part of these appear to have removed to Rome, where two of them were
      admitted into the senate (<bibl n="Cic. Clu. 48">Cic. Clu. 48</bibl>), though a branch of the
      family seems still to have remained at Teanum. (<bibl n="Cic. Att. 6.1">Cic. Att. 6.1</bibl>,
      mentions one Egnatius Sidicinus.) We find the following surnames borne by members of this gens
      : <hi rend="smallcaps">CELER</hi>, <hi rend="smallcaps">MAXIMUS</hi>, <hi rend="smallcaps">RUFUS</hi>, and <hi rend="smallcaps">VERATIUS.</hi>
